Arkansas:Abroad is a webzine that aims to bridge the gap between the common people of the state of Arkansas and the major events in the world that shape their everyday lives in a way that is straightforward and clear while still providing original insight and ideas. Arkansas:Abroad is also dedicated to bringing news and exposure to peoples, ideas and organizations that are here among us into the limelight.

Let’s face it. AP Wire stories just don’t cut it any more. They’re not written for us. They’re written to try and appeal to everyone. The fact of the matter is, there are issues that effect Arkansans and Arkansawyers that mainstream media just doesn’t report on or just doesn’t understand. That’s why we’re here. Arkansas:Abroad aims for nothing less than becoming the place for you to turn to when you need to know what’s happening, why it’s happening and how it affects you.

We take this pledge seriously.
