Jessica Richards

Jessica Richards is a foreign correspondent for Arkansas: Abroad. She was born and raised in El Dorado Arkansas and currently lives in Sydney, Australia. Jessica studied Interior Design at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, where she graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in 2007. Jessica is beginning her Master of Teaching Primary with a Graduate Certificate in Religious Education at Australian Catholic University in February 2012.

Jessica has previously worked as retail designer for Deborah Minning Pty Ltd and as a travel adviser for STA Travel at the University of New South Wales, both located in Sydney. Jessica moved to Sydney after meeting her now husband, Guy Richards, in Tasmania in March, 2008. The two were married in October 2010 and now live in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with their cat Barry.

In her spare time, Jessica enjoys yoga, swimming, running, hanging out at the beach and cooking for her friends. Traveling is still a huge part of Jessica’s life, with she and her husband traveling overseas to new destinations and to see family and friends at least twice a year.
